Finished Promise Me

I have to say this book is filled with the biggest twist at the end that is really good, that i havnt seen in a long time. You would have never suspected the ending at all. But ya this book is a must read!!!! I barly read books and i hate doing it, but I litterly could not put this book down. The dark secret about Aimee and what she learned, and how Myron finds her, and what he has to go through is just brilliant. The book draws you in more and more everytime you read. It is a bit violent but it's a good book regardless if you do not like violence. It is so far one of the best books I have read.

This book as been very interesting so far. I've not had a lot of free time recently to get through the book as fast as i can, but this book is very suspenseful in a way and there are times that i don't want to put it down but have to, and it is not even at the climate point of the book.


Since the last time i posted a lot of things has happened in the book.

Myron's relationship with his girlfriend Aimee has been progressing and they even found some alone time together. Myron's friend Esperanza is finally getting married and after her wedding around 3 a.m Myron's promise to the 2 girls in his old room in the basement came back to haunt him. His friends daughter called him and asked to pick her up (sounded like she was crying to Myron). She seemed to be a bit hesitant to say anything, and actually got out of the car in the middle of no where because Myron was asking to many questions. Myron calmed her down and promised not to ask anything else. He dropped her off at the house that she told him to drive to and it seemed like no one was home. He wanted to come with, but she said she will come back out and wave if everything was alright. So she did, but to Myron it seemed as if it was fake and he was about to get out, but he remembered his promise and just drove away. The next morning, Myron plays some basketball with his friend before he flies to Miami to meet with a client for work, during this time the girls parents call the cops because she never came home from her friends house and took out $1000 from an ATM machine and it was the same one that the missing girl from the beginning of the book used. The cops trace her cell phone records and conclude from it all that Myron has been having an affair with the girl, not saying it but implying that he was. They meet him at the airport and he is about to be interrogated when out of the blue his lawyer shows up to help, thanks to his best friends help.

That is basically where i had to stop reading sadly, but this is basically the next few chapters summed up.

Promise Me

So far in the book An old women that sees a girl that has been kidnapped and follows her in the city and then sees her on the subway, after that the next chapter is with Myron and the stuff what i wrote above. In the next chapter Myron (main character) makes his friends daughter and her friend promise him that they will call him whenever they have been drinking or in trouble and they don't know how to get home. The next chapter is about Myron's past.
